Our weather is like a roller coaster - up and down and smooth and bumpy and up and ... You get the idea. Today rolled in cloudy and then it rained &the wind blew and now the sun is out brightly. No complaining though because we need the moisture. I only hope it is a good day for Thanksgiving, since most of the grandkids will be here. It is a day to look forward to. Family gathering, cooking, baking, eating, talking, playing with the grandkids. Oh what fun!
I am thankful for:
* Family most of all. I love to have them gather here at our house. It is crazy when they come, but oh so fun.
* Brent. Since it is just the two of us, we have to think of new things to do together so we won't be boring. We seem to do a good job of it.
* The Church especially. Where in the world would I be without the church? Every day I am thankful for the gospel which helps me to continue to grow and stretch, which is sometimes hard at my old age.
* My new home. It is smaller, but a serene place and has everything we need. It has been fun decorating it.
* The area I live in - Sleepy Ridge. It is so beautiful here. We have a gorgeous view of Utah Lake in our back yard. We can also see all the mountains surrounding the valley. The views continually inspire me.
* Friends, old & new. It is comforting to know my old friends are still around with their friendship but fun to make new friends in this neighborhood.
* Health is wonderful. Despite my feet problems, I am really rather healthy and I feel good most of the time. Just a little slower.
* Wealth, well, at least enough to live on. We have been blessed to have enough and to spare. What more could one ask for.
* My Savior, Jesus Christ. Just knowing how much he loves me and helps me makes me able to accomplish anything I want to.
Be grateful for all you have in life. I AM>
