Goodbye February!
It hardly seems real that February - all 28 days of it - have come & gone in a blink. It seems to me that life is moving faster & faster & all I want to do is go slower & slower.
The end of January 5 of my daughters & me, plus Owen who is 3 mos. old, took a little trip to our home in Hurricane. It was a much needed rest for some. We had so much fun being together, eating, shopping, gossiping & playing with Owen, who is the sweetheart of us all. He smiles whenever anyone is looking at him. What a joy!
Monday when we returned home, Brent & I went to the Hale Theater to see "Kiss & Tell". What a fun play. We laughed until we were sick. Love nights like that. Spent a lot of nights this month watching BYU Basketball which we both love. The Cougars won some & lost some. Hate the times they loose. Went to a game too with Rick& PJ.
Katie had a birthday this month & dad & I went to SLC to celebrate with her. She just got new roommates, but her life keeps moving forward & her boys are so cute & smart. Jude is always the top student in his class. Then there was Celine's birthday - she turned 17. How could that cute little first grandbaby of ours be turning 17? See what I mean about life going faster! Grandpa & I took her out for treats for her birthday. We sure love spending time with any of our grandkids. They help keep us young. Every Tuesday night we pick up Aliah from her dance class. All her family is at YM/YW that night. It is always fun to be with Aliah.
On a Monday afternoon we headed down to St. George for almost a week. We still had a few things to do to fix up the house. We had a patio poured & the shutters were installed on our front room window. Sure makes the house look nice. Sandy & Bob Spencer were there so we spent some time with them - golfing & shopping. Just a fun, relaxing week. Hate to come home. Back to our "real" life.
The last day of the month we met with the Timpanogos Temple President & were set apart to be ordinance workers in the temple, starting in March. We are both looking forward to doing this.
Well, we were not loafers this month. There was always something to do & keep us busy. I am sure March will pass fast too. I don't know how to stop it. In the meantime, I will continue to try to live in the moment & enjoy it.

A NEW YEAR!
Christmas is over, everything is back to normal & another year has begun. Am I on a "treadmill" or something similar? Seems like I was just in this spot not too long ago. But, I am really thankful for another year of life - even the bad parts & sad parts! Living is wonderful & I try to enjoy each & every day of my life.
We spent 2 weeks in Europe (Paris, Prague & Germany) the first part of December visiting their Christmas Markets, and the last 2 weeks (into January too) in St. George putting together our new little home away from home. It is almost ready for guests. It was so nice (55 degrees) in St. George, that I did not want to come back to the ice box here in Utah Valley. Bought myself a new Bernina sewing machine so I can take my old one down to St. George to quilt down there. Hopefully by the end of the month of January we will be able to go down there & just relax, instead of work.
We are just "home" now enjoying all its comforts and being with our family whenever we can. So my life is good. Can't complain about anything.
