General Conference

Isn't General Conference for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints just the best spiritual uplift? All the talks were so relevant and inspiring. L. Tom Perry gave an impressive testimony of the truth of it all. How does one waver under such guidance? It was a spiritual feast I am looking forward to digging into again. No matter what others may think of our Church, we are always uplifted by the messages from our leaders at General Conference. Everything they say is positive and helps each of us to live a better life. But for me, the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is a true and living church. Through it I have come to know my Savior better and understand what God wants me to do in this life. I know where I came from, why I am here and where I am going. This knowledge helps me every day in my walk through this troubled world. I can find the peace I need to live and not be afraid or wonder about all the scary things around me. Really, anyone can have this knowledge if they will just turn to Jesus Christ and live as he asks them to live. It is all there in the Bible! The Book of Mormon is just another testiment of Jesus Christ and helps me understand Him better. I know it is a true book. Reading it will help turn you to Christ. That is a great journey to take and I recommend it highly to anyone seeking truth.
